Oh, those pesky feelings! There are many ways to express them. Anger, Fear, Joy, and love are just the tip of the iceberg and just a handful that are explored in the show.

The feeling’ was created by Kyra Jessica Willis, based on personal experiences, to bring to light the emotional telltale signs of personal demons people struggle with.

Kyra: “We created it as it was a show that needed to be told. It’s hard-hitting, raw, and dangerous in a way. Because there will be people in the audience who will question, ‘I think I’ve got a friend like that… that does some of this stuff.’ So I hope it raises awareness.”

You will laugh, you will cry — Pippa Lea (Lexie)

Kyra is just one of the eight cast members, as is Pippa, who plays Lexie. All the eight are ‘leads’ in their own right, whose lives are interconnected through bonds of family and friendship. They come together as friends and family do, sharing their experiences with laughter, arguments, tears, and much more. As it is based on real-life situations, at least one (or perhaps many) of these moments would spark a relatable experience within each member of the audience.

I interviewed five of the eight, and I can’t wait to see ‘The feeling’ on stage.
